Luisa’s Catering was established in Downtown San Carlos by Private Chef Luisa Ormonde. Luisa has had a passion for cooking ever since she was a little girl. While most children watched Saturday morning cartoons, Luisa was mesmerized by the cooking shows on public television hosted by master chefs such as Jacques Pepin, Julia Child, and Martin Yan. These chefs were such a huge influence and inspiration that she knew very early on food was her calling in life.
Luisa's Catering offers upscale menus for private parties, special corporate events and intimate receptions. Luisa personally hand picks all her produce from local farmer’s markets, such as Sigona’s in Redwood City, and only uses natural organic meats and poultry that have been raised traditionally, humanely and sustainably. Luisa also frequents the Half Moon Bay Fish Market, where quality freshly caught seafood is always available.
